Volunteering
We have a number of volunteering opportunities across Falkirk Council.
You could volunteer with our Green Team over at the Helix, or perhaps work with our Active Schools team!
See our opportunities here.
Hippfest
Our enthusiastic and hard-working volunteers welcome audiences, assist in ensuring events run smoothly, and conduct evaluation surveys. Our volunteers are all ages and from diverse backgrounds, but what they have in common is a passion for silent film with live music and a desire to make sure everyone has a great time at HippFest.
Hippsters
Hippsters is our constellation of engagement opportunities for young people at HippFest. Read more about these on our Youth and Community Page.
Applications for HippFest Young Programmers are open in September annually. Young Programmers is a development opportunity for anyone wanting to learn more about any aspect of organising and programming for film festivals. The group will have self-directed opportunities to engage with and programme events around the HippFest programme, Taste of Silents, HippCast and HippFest at Home platforms, with professional development sessions, networking and peer learning taking place over a year-long initiative.
