Bo’ness district’s proud, rich history and attractive landscapes have provided the perfect backdrop for a surprising number of films including big budget productions like World War Z, The Railway Man and Cloud Atlas. The Hippodrome itself has taken a starring role in TV shows like The 39 Steps, Rillington Place and Good Omens 2, whilst Callendar House in Falkirk, dating back to the 14th century, has hosted filming for the hugely popular Outlander series. Meet a costumed interpreter at Callendar House to hear insights into filming key Outlander scenes in the atmospheric Georgian Kitchen, then join Belle Doyle, former Location Manager for Scottish Screen, for more insider secrets about filming in Scotland....
