Taste of Silents 2025: Go West

Saturday, 18 Oct 25 at 15:00 p.m.

Buster Keaton is at his hilarious best in this buddy comedy… co-starring Brown Eyes the cow!

A poor young man, known only as “Friendless” (Keaton), sells the last of his belongings and travels West seeking work at a cattle ranch. Struggling to fit in with his fellow workers, he bonds with a beautiful cow named “Brown Eyes” (playing herself). When Brown Eyes is chosen for slaughter, Friendless will do anything he can to save her.

This HippFest Taste of Silents 2025 screening will feature live piano accompaniment by acclaimed silent film musician, and HippFest regular: Mike Nolan.
