Youth Clubs (postponed for 2022)
Each year we work with young people from local primary schools to create a soundtrack for a silent film. Explore how different styles of music change your reaction to film. Led by a professional musician, you don’t need to have any experience, just your imagination and sense of rhythm.

Young Falkirk Filmmakers
In early 2019 care-experienced young people from the Falkirk Champions Board created their own silent short film working with filmmakers from Screen Education Edinburgh. Funded by Cashback for Creativity, this filmmaking programme trains young people in the key aspects of film making from camera and sound to screenwriting, directing and editing. Their final short silent film, The Lost Child, premiered at New Found Sound accompanied by Mike Nolan on piano and followed by a short Q&A.
