Opportunity for 16-26 year olds
Hippodrome Silent Film Festival / Hippodrome Cinema are looking for Young Reviewers to attend and write about HippFest 2019.
Do you love film and live music? Are you interested in developing your writing, presentation and photography skills? Hippodrome Silent Film Festival / Hippodrome Cinema are looking for Young Reviewers to attend and write about HippFest 2019.
You will:
- Work with professional film writers
- Create blogs, media reviews and other online content about silent cinema
- Attend events at Hippodrome Silent Film Festival (20-24 March)
- Work with the HippFest team to learn about the Festival films and musicians
Hippodrome Silent Film Festival is Scotland's first and only festival of silent cinema. Our programme includes rare or unique silent screenings at the Hippodrome and other venues in Bo'ness, accompanied by live improvised music, talks, and workshops.
We are looking for a small team of young people aged 16-26 from Central Scotland, available for four meetings between mid January-mid March, and for at least two days 20-24 March. Hippodrome is in Bo'ness, near Falkirk, and we will cover travel expenses within Central Scotland.
