The Hippodrome Silent Film Festival took place from Wednesday 20 March to Sunday 24 March 2019.
The 2019 Festival offered an exciting programme of silent films with live music, talks workshops and special events. Highlights of the Festival included new commissions of David Allison for Rob Roy (1922) and Marit & Rona for Norwegian classic Laila (1929). Guests entered into the Festival spirit for the Friday Night Gala, dressing up their 20s finery.
